Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and UniPlays (“UniPlays”, “we”, “us”). They apply whenever you visit uniplays.fun, play a game, connect a wallet, trade, buy or sell an item, enter a round or publish a game. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use UniPlays.
How disputes are settled
Section 28 says that disputes are settled by individual arbitration in Singapore, not as a class or group. Small claims can still go to a small claims court, and you can opt out of arbitration within 30 days. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived.
1. The agreement
These terms cover the website at uniplays.fun and everything we run for it: the game player, the public API, the software kits, the MCP server, hosted game backends and any test network version.
Players accept these terms by using UniPlays. Developers accept them when they launch a game. The launch page shows a required box that reads “I have read and agree to the Terms of Use, the Developer agreement and the Content policy”. Ticking that box and launching is your acceptance of these terms, the Developer agreement and the Content policy.
These pages also form part of these terms: the Content policy, the Fees page, the Risk disclosures and the Copyright page. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. If you publish a game, the Developer agreement also applies, and on developer matters it wins over these terms if the two differ.
2. What UniPlays is
UniPlays hosts browser games published by third parties and ranks them. Each published game launches its own ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain, in the same transaction that publishes the game. The contracts that do this are permissionless: anyone can use them without our approval. UniPlays operates the storefront, the game player, the indexer and related services. Apart from games UniPlays publishes itself and the UniPlays platform token (UPLAY), UniPlays does not issue any token, and it never holds or guarantees one for you.
UniPlays is not a broker, exchange, custodian or adviser of any kind. We hold no financial services licence or registration. We are not a party to trades between users. A trade happens directly between your wallet and the contracts on chain.
This site names third parties such as Robinhood Chain, Uniswap, Chainlink and Cloudflare only to state facts about the technology it uses. Naming them does not mean they partner with, sponsor or endorse UniPlays.
3. Who can use UniPlays
You may use UniPlays only if you can form a binding contract under the law where you live. If you cannot, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you, and they are responsible for your use. If you use UniPlays for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you can bind it to these terms.
You confirm that you are not named on a sanctions list, and not owned or controlled by anyone who is. This includes lists kept by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Singapore. You will not use UniPlays to break sanctions laws or to help anyone else do so.
You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you where you are, including laws on games, prizes, tokens and taxes.
4. Your wallet and sign-in
You can play many games as a guest, with no account and no wallet. Before we issue a guest identity, a Cloudflare Turnstile check runs to stop automated abuse. Your guest identity is kept in a cookie for 30 days.
Anything that moves value needs a wallet you already hold. UniPlays works with external wallets only. We never create, hold or see your private keys or recovery phrase. We cannot recover a wallet, reverse a transaction or cancel a signature. To sign in, you sign a message with your wallet. A sign-in lasts up to 30 days.
You are responsible for every transaction and signature you approve, so check each one in your wallet first. We will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key. Anyone who does is not UniPlays.
Each game sees you under a player identifier made for that game alone. A game receives your wallet address only if you give it permission. You can link guest progress to a wallet.
5. Games on UniPlays
Games are published by independent developers, and publishing needs no approval from us. An automated check confirms that a game loads and looks for obvious problems. It is a filter for spam and honest mistakes, not a security review, and it is not a promise about any game. Games run in a sandbox on a separate web domain.
The developer is responsible for the game, its content and anything it promises you, including the delivery of items that exist only inside the game. A game may have its own terms and privacy notice. When a new version of a game asks for a new permission, or changes item prices or entry thresholds, UniPlays shows returning players a notice before the game can be played.
How games are ranked
The main game list ranks games by their signed-in players, those players’ focused playtime, how often they come back after 1, 7 and 30 days, and how many scores come from the game’s own server. New games get a boost that fades over time. To limit farming, a player whose wallet has some history, such as an earlier trade, a game token held across two days or a passed bot check, counts for more, and play from one network is capped. The list never uses a token’s price, trading volume, market value or holder count.
The separate trending tokens tab orders live games by trading volume in WETH (wrapped ETH, the token form of ETH that every game token trades against) over a recent period. Rankings, lists and badges are information. They are not an endorsement or a recommendation.
6. Game tokens and trading
Each game token has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, created once at launch. About 71.43% is sold on a bonding curve. When the curve reaches its graduation target, UniPlays takes a graduation fee of 0.3 WETH from the raised WETH, never more than half of it. The rest of the raised WETH is placed in a Uniswap v4 pool with up to about 20.41% of the supply, at the price the curve ended at, and the pool’s liquidity is locked with no way to withdraw it. The tokens that would have been paired with the fee are burned. About 8.16% is locked for good and can never be sold. Nothing is set aside for the developer, for UniPlays or for anyone else.
The graduation target is fixed in WETH at launch, 4.2 WETH by default. UniPlays can change the target for new launches, never below 4.2 WETH or above 100 WETH. You can buy and sell on the curve before graduation.
The token has no function to create more tokens, pause trading, block holders or tax transfers. Its name and symbol can never change after launch. In the launch transaction, the developer may buy up to 20% of the graduation target, and that buy is public on chain.
Launching costs 0.0004 ETH, so anyone can launch and copied names are expected. When another live game uses the same ticker, or one that looks the same, the token page says so and lists it. The token contract address is the only reliable identity of a token.
7. What UniPlays can and cannot do
Off chain, UniPlays can hide a game’s page, remove it from lists and search, stop its access to our services, and block its files on our content network, which takes effect within about two minutes.
On chain, UniPlays can set a game’s status in the game registry to Suspended or Delisted. While a game is not Live, these stop:
- Shop purchases through the checkout contract, and setting up a new shop catalog.
- Creating or joining new matches.
- Setting up or funding reward budgets.
- New treasury actions: opening chance rounds paid from the treasury, making or filling treasury offers to buy items, and raising treasury limits.
- New entries into chance rounds that are already open.
- Buying through the UniPlays pool router.
- Minting items with the game’s signed vouchers, including stocking a paid draw. A voucher that expires meanwhile mints nothing.
- Creating paid draws, and new plays in paid draws.
These continue:
- Selling through the UniPlays pool router.
- Trading on the curve or in the pool through any other route. The token, curve and pool do not check the status.
- Player to player listings on the item market.
- Refunds, withdrawals and claims already owed, including matches already under way and reward claims.
- Reveals, refunds and prizes for chance entries already made.
- Results, refunds and prizes for paid draw plays already made.
- Treasury awards. The game’s payout signer can still sign and pay new awards within the treasury’s daily limits.
- Payments into the game’s treasury, such as the extra game fee.
- Burning and transferring items.
- Withdrawal of fees a developer has already earned.
The contracts also give UniPlays a small set of platform roles. With them we can:
- pause new launches;
- set the graduation target for new launches, between 4.2 and 100 WETH;
- name a successor to the ETH to US dollar price feed used for dollar prices, but only after that feed has stopped answering for 7 days;
- set the fee hook, but only until the first game graduates or until we freeze it for good, whichever comes first;
- set the fee router, but only to the address fixed in the launch contract;
- register randomness keys for chance rounds, or retire one after a waiting period, which never affects a round already open.
A pause of new launches takes effect at once. A change to the graduation target, the price feed, the fee hook or the fee router, and the lifting of a launch pause, goes through a public timelock: it is scheduled on chain and takes effect only after a delay. The delay is 48 hours.
An admin role in the launch and game registry contracts can give the launch, price feed, fee and status roles to other addresses or take them away. The randomness key role is a fixed address in its contract and cannot be reassigned.
UniPlays cannot take, freeze, burn or move tokens or items held in anyone else’s wallet, cannot create more of any game token and cannot reverse a trade. Apart from closing buys through the UniPlays pool router as listed above, it cannot stop trading on the curve or in the pool. The token, bonding curve, pool, liquidity locker, game treasury and match escrow contracts have no admin key, no pause and no upgrade path. Nobody can change what is already on chain.
A key a developer appoints UniPlays to run, such as a hosted payout signer, acts only within the limits that developer set on chain. In a game UniPlays publishes itself, UniPlays acts as that game’s developer, with the same powers as any other developer.
8. No investment advice, no offer
Nothing on UniPlays is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Nothing on UniPlays is an offer to sell, or a request to buy, a security or any other investment. A game’s token carries no claim on UniPlays’ revenue, on the developer’s fee stream, or on the game itself. It gives no right to profits, dividends, votes or repayment.
Fees paid to developers are payment for a service: making and running a game people play. They are not a share of profits.
Some routings of fees are written into contracts, as the Fees page explains. The platform’s fees go to UniPlays, and none of them go to a token buyback or to any holders. A game may also send part or all of its extra trading fee to the holders of its own reward NFTs. Rewards follow an NFT to whoever holds it when they claim. These are rules of the contracts, not a share of anyone’s profits, and not a claim of a game’s token. They are not a promise about any price or return. Make your own decisions and do your own research.
9. Fees
Trades on the curve, and after graduation in the pool, pay a fee of 1% of the WETH side, split equally between the game’s developer and UniPlays. A game may add an extra fee of up to 3% on the token side, fixed at launch. The developer fixes at launch how it is split between the holders of the game’s reward NFTs and that game’s treasury, the treasury’s part less any share the game burns on arrival. Launching costs 0.0004 ETH plus gas. At graduation, UniPlays takes a fee of 0.3 WETH from the raise, never more than half of it, as section 6 explains. A third party may charge a protocol fee on pool trades, as section 21 explains.
UniPlays takes no share of shop sales, match stakes, chance entries or draw entries. It charges developers for optional hosting. Network gas is always paid by the person who sends the transaction. Apart from the chance and paid draw refunds in section 12, fees paid on chain cannot be refunded. The Fees page lists every fee.
10. Shop, items and the item market
A game’s shop may show prices in US dollars. You pay in the game’s token. The conversion is made on chain, from the token’s average price over the 30 minutes before a minute boundary your transaction names and the average ETH to US dollar price from the price feed over the same 30 minutes. It uses no signed quote and no spot price. The amount your wallet shows is the most you pay, and the purchase is refused if the chain cannot establish the price. Your payment is split as the developer published it, between the developer, the game’s treasury and a burn. UniPlays takes nothing.
The on-chain receipt is your proof of purchase. Delivering an item that lives inside the game is the developer’s job. Delivery can be retried without paying again, but UniPlays cannot force a developer to deliver.
On-chain items are ERC-1155 tokens in one collection per game. Each item type has a supply cap and rules that are fixed when it is declared. On the item market, a listing is an offer you sign while the item stays in your wallet. A listing lasts up to 90 days and settles in the game’s token. Each item type carries a royalty of 0% to 10%, fixed when the type is declared. It is taken from the seller’s proceeds and goes to the developer or is burned, as the game chose.
Items, balances and currencies that exist only inside a game belong to that game. The developer decides how they work and whether they last.
11. Rewards, matches and game treasuries
Rewards come from budgets a developer funds in advance, held by a contract. A reward batch opens for claims 24 hours after it is funded. Before then, a guardian the developer appointed may challenge it, and a challenge is settled within 7 days. Once open, rewards can be claimed for 90 days.
In a match, every player puts in the same stake. The game may keep a rake of 0% to 10% for its treasury, shown before you join. UniPlays takes nothing. The winner is named by the resolver the game set when the match was created. If a match is not settled in time, the stakes can be refunded.
Each game has a treasury that holds its own token. The treasury can spend only toward players: awards, buying items from players and prize money for chance rounds, within daily limits. The treasury is not locked. The developer may direct treasury funds to any address, including its own, within those limits. If the developer changes the payout signer, or hands the game to a new developer, every outstanding award voucher is cancelled, including ones already earned. The game page shows the current payout signer.
A game may burn a share of every payment into its treasury as it arrives, up to 50%. The developer sets that share within a ceiling declared at launch, and a change takes effect 24 hours after it is requested.
Rewards, awards and prizes have no guaranteed value.
12. Games of chance
Rounds of chance are not open yet. When they open, the rules in this paragraph and the next two apply. Some games will run rounds where you pay an entry in the game’s token for a chance to win a prize. The developer sets the odds, the prizes and the house fee, and they are published before you enter. Before your first entry you must acknowledge a disclosure, and every round has a public verification page.
Every result is signed with two keys. UniPlays holds both keys, each in separate custody. Nobody can choose a result, but whoever controls both keys can predict every result. The largest prize a round can pay from the game treasury is set aside when the round opens.
A round takes entries for at most 24 hours. A result can arrive until 24 hours after the round stops taking entries, so at most 48 hours after your entry. If it has not arrived by then, anyone, you included, can refund your entry in full, house fee included. The refund is credited to you and collected with one withdrawal. It is available to you, not automatic. The house fee is up to 50% and goes to the game’s treasury. UniPlays takes none of it.
Some games sell plays in a paid draw for NFTs. A play is decided by a public drand randomness round published after the play is made, and your entry is held in escrow until the result. A play whose randomness does not arrive can be refunded after a timeout, and that timeout turns every play pending at that moment into a refund, even one whose own randomness is already public. A play that wins when no prize is left to give is returned in full when it settles. A refund returns what you paid but not the play, which still counts toward the per-wallet limit. Before your first play in each draw you must acknowledge a disclosure that lists every trust point, and every result has a public verification page.
Prizes are paid in a token whose value can go to zero. You alone are responsible for whether taking part is lawful where you are. UniPlays does not check where you are.
13. Fair drops and item burns
A game may use UniPlays fair drops and item burns. Both are optional. Drops and crafting that a game runs on its own remain that game’s own logic.
A fair drop is decided by the public drand randomness beacon together with records UniPlays anchors on chain. The records are public and anyone can check a drop. The game’s server decides when a drop is earned. For games UniPlays runs or hosts, that is UniPlays. Drops cost players nothing. Seasons, drop tables and burn recipes are declared in the game’s published files and change only through a game update. A new season starts at least 24 hours after the update that declares it, or 1 hour on the test network. A season lasts at most 90 days and cannot change once published.
A drop check in your browser relies on the drand network not acting together to predict or bias its numbers, on the Robinhood Chain sequencer keeping time and order honestly and not blocking UniPlays records, on the game’s server fairly deciding when a drop is earned within public limits, and on the developer delivering what was rolled. UniPlays can stop publishing records, which is visible but cannot change a result. UniPlays acting together with enough of the drand network, with the sequencer, or, while the chain is idle, with its delayed message queue could defeat the check. The last of these can be detected. A check looks back about two minutes of earlier records; a full monitor covers the rest.
Drops act, and burns act unless the game requires final settlement for that burn, as soon as the chain’s sequencer confirms a transaction, which takes seconds. Final settlement comes later. If the final chain ever differs, UniPlays records the difference publicly and tells the developer, who may reverse an in-game grant. We never silently change a published result.
A burn needs your approval in a UniPlays window outside the game. Burning destroys the items for good, and each burn can be redeemed once. The developer delivers what the burn promises. UniPlays records whether the game acknowledged it but cannot force delivery.
14. What you must not do
- Manipulate markets, for example by wash trading, spoofing, pump and dump schemes or coordinated trading.
- Launch a token in order to abandon it after taking buyers’ money, or run any other fraud.
- Launder money, finance terrorism, or break or get around sanctions laws.
- Exploit a bug in a contract, a game or UniPlays, or attack the game sandbox or our systems.
- Use bots or many identities to farm rewards, drops, playtime or rankings.
- Collect data from UniPlays beyond the published API limits.
- Pretend to be another person, game, developer or UniPlays.
- Offer securities or promise profit, revenue or returns from a token.
- Publish content the Content policy does not allow, or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Spread malware, phishing or requests for recovery phrases and private keys.
- Come back under a new wallet or identity after we have ended your access.
15. Our interests
UniPlays, its team and its affiliates may hold, buy or sell tokens available on UniPlays, including game tokens and the UniPlays platform token, at any time and without notice. UniPlays may publish its own games on the platform, and those games use the same public contracts as every other game. We owe you no fiduciary duty.
UniPlays also runs parts of the service that games rely on: the randomness keys for chance rounds, hosted signers, the relay that reveals paid draws, moderation and ranking. UniPlays receives the launch fee, half of the 1% trading fee and the graduation fee on every game.
16. Your content and feedback
When you submit scores, saved progress, names or other content, you let UniPlays store, show and send it to the game it belongs to, as needed to run the service. Leaderboards are public. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely and owe you nothing for it.
17. Intellectual property
UniPlays owns the website, the game player, the software kits and the UniPlays name and marks. We give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use them for their intended purpose under these terms. Games belong to their developers. Open source software in UniPlays stays under its own licence. To report infringement, see the Copyright page.
18. Services run by others
UniPlays depends on services that others run, including your wallet, WalletConnect by Reown when you use it, Robinhood Chain, the Uniswap v4 contracts, Chainlink price feeds, drand and Cloudflare. We do not control them. They have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, failures or changes.
19. Risk
Tokens launched here are volatile and often become worthless. They can be created by anonymous people. You can lose everything you put in. Read the Risk disclosures before you trade, buy, enter a round or publish.
20. Taxes
You are responsible for any tax on your trades, purchases, prizes, rewards and fees, and for reporting it.
21. Risks outside UniPlays’ control
WETH on this chain is upgradeable
Every game token trades against WETH. On Robinhood Chain, WETH is an EIP-1967 proxy whose code can be replaced by its ProxyAdmin. UniPlays controls neither and cannot stop an upgrade. A change to WETH could affect every game token and every pool.
WETH proxy 0x7943e237c7F95DA44E0301572D358911207852Fa; implementation 0xf40600e58a560a988d7b60d61f22f7ab18106ed6; ProxyAdmin 0xe743e696b00789ef489cf617477771764e9283a0 (Robinhood Chain Testnet).
A third party can charge a fee on pool trades
After graduation, a token trades in a Uniswap v4 pool held by a PoolManager contract. The protocol fee controller of that PoolManager is a third party, not UniPlays. It can switch on a protocol fee of up to 0.1% per swap direction, without asking anyone. That fee is charged on top of the 1% trading fee.
PoolManager 0x8366a39CC670B4001A1121B8F6A443A643e40951; protocolFeeController not pinned on this network.
The chain sequencer screens transactions
Robinhood Chain screens transactions at its sequencer for compliance, and its filtering can make a transaction fail. This happens above UniPlays and above the contracts. A trade, a purchase or a claim can be refused by the chain itself, and no UniPlays contract can override that.
Arbitrum Orbit sequencer policy; ArbOS transaction filtering.
Transaction ordering at a launch
Trading opens in the same block in which a game appears. The chain has not published how it orders transactions. Assume that other buyers can see your transaction and act before it lands, most of all in the first minutes. Set a slippage limit you are willing to accept.
The first sixty seconds
For the first sixty seconds after a launch, the curve limits what one address can spend to 1% of the graduation target. That limit is a rule in the contract. It is not a promise about the order in which trades arrive, one person can use many addresses, and it does not apply to the developer’s first buy made in the launch transaction.
22. Test network
UniPlays may run on a Robinhood Chain test network, for example at testnet.uniplays.fun. Test network tokens, items and balances have no value and cannot be exchanged for anything of value. We may reset test network data and balances at any time, without notice.
23. Disclaimers
UniPlays is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, express or implied. In particular, we do not promise that UniPlays will be available, secure or free of errors, that prices, rankings or other data are accurate, or that any game, token, item or contract will work as you expect or keep any value.
24. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, UniPlays is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or token value, even if we were told it might happen.
Our total liability for all claims relating to UniPlays or these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to UniPlays in the 12 months before the claim arose and USD 100.
These limits do not apply to loss caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct, or to any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
In sections 23 to 25, “UniPlays” also includes its team members, affiliates and service providers.
25. Your responsibility to us
You will cover UniPlays against claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal costs, that arise from your use of UniPlays, your breach of these terms or of any law, content you submit, your infringement of anyone’s rights, or your disputes with other users. This does not apply to the extent the loss was caused by UniPlays.
26. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to UniPlays, or suspend or remove any page, at any time. We may do so if you break these terms or the Content policy, for legal or security reasons, or to protect users. Section 7 explains what such an action does on chain. Removal from UniPlays does not take anything from your wallet. Tokens and items you hold remain yours, and you can still use them directly on chain.
You can stop using UniPlays at any time. Sections that by their nature should last after these terms end will last, including sections 8, 16, 17 and 20 to 29.
27. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We post every change here with a new last updated date. A material change takes effect 14 days after we post it. Other changes take effect when we post them. If you keep using UniPlays after a change takes effect, you accept it. A change to section 28 does not apply to a dispute that either side had already notified before the change was posted. We may also change or stop any part of UniPlays.
28. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute about them or about UniPlays, are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Talk to us first
Before starting a claim, the side with the dispute must send the other a written notice describing it and the outcome it wants. Send yours to legal@uniplays.fun. Both sides will then try in good faith to settle it for 30 days.
Arbitration
If the dispute is not settled within those 30 days, it will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under its arbitration rules in force when the notice of arbitration is filed. The seat of the arbitration is Singapore. There will be one arbitrator. The language of the arbitration is English. This covers any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or UniPlays, including any question about their existence, validity or termination.
Individual claims only
Claims may be brought only individually. You and UniPlays each give up the right to bring or take part in a class, collective, consolidated or representative action. The arbitrator may not combine claims of different people or award relief to a group. If this paragraph cannot be enforced for a claim, that claim will not be arbitrated and will be decided by the courts of Singapore, subject to your local rights.
Small claims and urgent relief
Either side may instead bring an individual claim in a small claims court or tribunal where the claim qualifies. Either side may also ask a court for urgent interim relief to protect its rights while an arbitration is pending.
Opting out of arbitration
You have 30 days from the day you first accept these terms to choose courts instead of arbitration. To do that, write to legal@uniplays.fun and tell us your name, any wallet address you use on UniPlays, and that you do not want disputes with us to go to arbitration. If you opt out, the courts of Singapore decide disputes, and the rest of these terms still apply.
Your local rights
Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived by contract, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts where that law gives you one.
Time limit
A claim must be started within one year after it arose, unless the law where you live does not allow that limit. This time limit pauses during the 30 days of informal resolution under this section.
29. General
- These terms, with the pages they include, are the whole agreement between you and UniPlays about their subject.
- If a court or arbitrator finds part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited as little as possible and the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale of the service.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of the chain, networks or providers.
- No one other than you and UniPlays has a right to enforce these terms, except that UniPlays’ team members, affiliates and service providers may rely on sections 23 to 25. These terms are written in English, and the English text prevails over any translation.
- We may give you notices on UniPlays, or by email if you have given us an address.
