Copyright
UniPlays respects the rights of creators and expects developers and users to do the same. This page explains how to tell us about content that infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your content was removed. It is part of the Terms of Use.
1. Sending a notice
Email your notice to legal@uniplays.fun. Please include:
- your name, postal address, email address and phone number;
- the work you believe is infringed, or a list of works if there are several;
- the link to each page on UniPlays where the content appears, or the game or token address, with enough detail for us to find it;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We may not be able to act on a notice that leaves something out.
2. What we do
When we receive a valid notice, we may remove or block access to the content. For a game, that can mean blocking its files on our content network, hiding its page or removing it from lists. We tell the developer and may send them a copy of the notice, which can include your contact details.
Some things cannot be removed by anyone. A token’s name and symbol are fixed on chain, and transactions and on-chain records stay public. We can stop showing them on UniPlays, but we cannot change or delete them.
3. Responding to a notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, email a response to legal@uniplays.fun. Please include:
- your name, postal address, email address and phone number;
- the content that was removed and where it appeared before;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the content was removed by mistake or because it was misidentified;
- your agreement that the dispute may be decided by the courts where you live or by the courts of Singapore, and that you will accept legal papers from the person who sent the notice; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will pass your response to the person who sent the notice. If they do not tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have started court proceedings, we may restore the content.
4. Repeat infringers
If a developer or user infringes again and again, we may remove all of their games and end their access to UniPlays.
5. False notices
Do not send a notice or response that you know is false. Doing so can make you liable for the harm it causes, including costs and legal fees.
6. Trademarks and other rights
To report a trademark or other rights problem, email legal@uniplays.fun with the right you hold, where it is registered if it is, and the content on UniPlays that you believe infringes it. For other content problems, see the Content policy.
