Resolution
Retry reads with a delay. Treat a timeout on a confirmation as an unknown outcome, never as a failure: the action may still complete, and opening the same purchase or payment again can pay twice.
Context
Read requests allow 15 seconds, writes 20 seconds, and one confirmation call up to 43 minutes.
